Since then we’ve had the first ‘Star Wars Story’ movie released in December 2016 and each of those movies have come to Netflix in the US. It started by kickstarting the brand new trilogy. Since 2015, Disney has been pumping out a new Star Wars movie every year. Other regions such as Canada and the United Kingdom will also get The Last Jedi streaming.
Thanks to the Disney deal, Netflix in the United States will be getting Episode VIII. Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi will be the second and maybe even the final Star Wars movie coming to Netflix in 2018.
